Spot the Shortcut Contest

Official rules. Performance Exteriors Inc., Coldwater, Ontario. Contest runs Monday, September 21 through Sunday, September 27, 2026.

1. Sponsor

This contest is run by Performance Exteriors Inc., Coldwater, Ontario, Canada. Phone 705-238-2441. Email admin@performanceexteriors.ca. Website performanceexteriors.ca.

2. Contest period

The contest opens at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, September 21, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Entries received outside that window will not be accepted. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.

3. Who can enter

• You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• You must be a legal resident of Ontario, Canada, living within the Sponsor's service area: Simcoe County, Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Barrie, or Orillia.
• Employees of Performance Exteriors Inc., and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible.

4. How to enter

On each day of the contest period, the Sponsor will publish one photo or challenge on its Instagram and Facebook accounts. To enter:

• Comment on that day's post using the keyword shown in the post.
• You will receive a direct message containing an entry link.
• Complete the entry form with your name, email address, phone number, and town.

Your answer does not need to be correct. Entry is open to everyone who completes the form, whether they guessed right or not.

One entry per person per day. Enter on all seven days and you will hold seven entries in the draw. Duplicate entries submitted on the same day will be removed.

5. Free alternate method of entry

No social media account is required. To enter without commenting on a post, send an email to admin@performanceexteriors.ca with the subject line "Spot the Shortcut" and include your full name, email address, phone number, and town. One email entry per person per day, subject to the same daily limit and deadline as above.

6. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded: PE SWAG BAG, with an approximate retail value of $100+ CAD.

The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, not exchangeable, and has no cash equivalent. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any cost not expressly included in the prize description is the winner's responsibility.

7. How the winner is chosen

On Monday, September 28, 2026, one entry will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the contest period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Skill-testing question

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. An entrant who fails to answer correctly forfeits the prize, and another entry will be drawn.

9. Notification and claiming the prize

The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address and phone number provided on their entry form. They must respond within five (5) business days of first contact. If they cannot be reached in that time, decline the prize, fail the skill-testing question, or are found ineligible, the prize is forfeited and another entry will be drawn.

The selected entrant may be required to sign a declaration confirming eligibility, acceptance of the prize as awarded, and release of the Sponsor from liability.

10. Your information

Information collected through the entry form is used to administer this contest and to contact the winner. The Sponsor will not sell, rent, or trade it.

The entry form includes a separate, optional consent box for receiving future emails & texts from Performance Exteriors Inc. Ticking that box is not required to enter and has no effect on your chance of winning. If you consent, you may withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting admin@performanceexteriors.ca.

11. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may publish their first name and town in connection with announcing the result, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

12. General conditions

• Entries that are incomplete, illegible, late, or submitted by any automated means are void.
• The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has tampered with the entry process or acted in bad faith.
• The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received for any reason, including technical failure of any website, platform, or network.
• The Sponsor may amend, suspend, or cancel this contest at any time if it cannot be run as planned. Where a contest is cancelled, the Sponsor will award the prize by random draw from eligible entries received up to the point of cancellation.
• All decisions of the Sponsor regarding this contest are final and binding.

13. Platform release

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants release Meta Platforms, Inc. completely in connection with this contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the contest must be directed to Performance Exteriors Inc., not to Meta.

14. Governing law

This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
